John Joe Carrigan is one of the most decorated young amateur boxers to turn professional in British boxing history. His amateur resume reads: eight-time English champion, six-time North West champion, seven-time BoxCup champion, Under-19 World Championship gold medallist and European Youth and Junior podium topper. The Carlisle teenager made his professional debut in October 2025, dispatching Dawid Przybylski in one round. Promoted by Queensberry, Carrigan is tipped for a huge future in the super welterweight division.
